Summary

CVE-2023-6563 is an unconstrained memory consumption vulnerability affecting Keycloak. This issue arises when environments host millions of offline tokens, equating to over 500,000 users, each with at least two saved sessions. When an attacker creates multiple user sessions and accesses the "consents" tab in the admin User Interface, the system attempts to load an excessive number of offline client sessions, leading to significant memory and CPU consumption. Potential consequences include potential system crashes.
