Summary

CVE-2023-6559 is a vulnerability affecting the MW WP Form plugin for WordPress. The issue stems from the plugin's failure to adequately validate the path of uploaded files before deletion. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate file paths and delete arbitrary files, including the critical wp-config.php file. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, potentially enabling site takeover and remote code execution. All WordPress sites using the MW WP Form plugin version 5.0.3 and below are urged to apply the necessary security updates to mitigate this threat.
