Summary

CVE-2023-6529 is a vulnerability affecting the WP VR plugin for WordPress. Before version 8.3.15, this plugin failed to implement proper authorization and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protections in a function hooked to admin_init. This issue enables unauthenticated users to downgrade the plugin, potentially exposing the system to Reflected or Stored XSS attacks. Previous versions of the plugin have already been identified as having such vulnerabilities.
