Summary
CVE-2023-6500: The WP Plugin Lister WordPress plugin, prior to version 2.1.0, is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This issue arises due to the lack of Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) checks and insufficient sanitization and escaping in certain areas. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, potentially compromising user data or taking control of admin functions.
