Summary

CVE-2023-6420 is a newly identified cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Voovi Social Networking Script version 1.0. The issue lies in the signup2.php file, specifically the emailadd parameter. By successfully exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can inject a malicious JavaScript payload into a user's browser session. While not complete takeover, this could still result in unauthorized access to sensitive information or actions within the social networking application. Authenticated users are at risk of being targeted.
