Summary

CVE-2023-6380 is a newly identified open redirect vulnerability in Open CMS's Mercury template, affecting versions 14 and 15. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by crafting deceptive URLs and sending them to intended users. Upon clicking the URL, the user is redirected to an attacker's malicious site, potentially leading to compromise. This vulnerability arises due to inadequate sanitization of the 'URI' parameter within the product.
