Summary

CVE-2023-6355 is a vulnerability affecting the Gallagher Controller 7000 platform. An attacker can exploit this issue by incorrectly selecting fuse values, bypassing some protection mechanisms and enabling local debug. This vulnerability affects various versions of the Gallagher Controller 7000, including 9.00 prior to vCR9.00.231204b, 8.90 prior to vCR8.90.231204a, 8.80 prior to vCR8.80.231204a, and 8.70 prior to vCR8.70.231204a, distributed in 9.00.1507 (MR1), 8.90.1620 (MR2), 8.80.1369 (MR3), and 8.70.2375 (MR5) respectively. Successful exploitation could lead to significant security risks. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest versions of their software to mitigate this vulnerability.
