Summary

CVE-2023-6315 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting FPWin Pro version 7.7.0.0 and older versions. This issue permits attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious project file. By reading memory outside the intended bounds, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or even take control of the targeted system. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version or apply the vendor-provided patch as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
