Summary

CVE-2023-6231 is a buffer overflow vulnerability impacting the WSD probe request process in certain Office Multifunction Printers and Laser Printers, specifically those in the Satera LBP670C Series, Satera MF750C Series, Color imageCLASS LBP674C, Color imageCLASS X LBP1333C, Color imageCLASS MF750C Series, Color imageCLASS X MF1333C Series, i-SENSYS LBP673Cdw, C1333P, and i-SENSYS MF750C Series, as well as the C1333i Series. This issue, present in firmware v03.07 and earlier, can cause the affected products to become unresponsive when attacked on a network segment. In more severe cases, an attacker may gain the ability to execute arbitrary code. These printers, which were sold in Japan, the US, and Europe, are susceptible to this vulnerability.
