Summary
CVE-2023-6218 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting MOVEit Transfer versions prior to 2022.0.9 (14.0.9), 2022.1.10 (14.1.10), and 2023.0.7 (15.0.7). Group administrators can exploit this issue to elevate group members' permissions, granting them organization administrator access within the system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to the security of the affected MOVEit Transfer installations. Organizations using these versions are strongly advised to update to the latest patches to mitigate this issue.
