Summary
CVE-2023-6205 is a vulnerability affecting Firefox versions below 120, Firefox ESR below 115.5.0, and Thunderbird below 115.5. This issue allows an attacker to cause the use of a freed MessagePort, potentially resulting in an exploitable crash. The misuse of this freed MessagePort could have significant security implications. The vulnerability stems from improper memory management in the browsers' message passing system.
