Summary

CVE-2023-6197 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Audio Merchant plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 5.0.4 are susceptible to this issue. The flaw lies in the lack of proper nonce validation on the "audio_merchant_save_settings" function, leading to unauthenticated attackers being able to modify plugin settings and inject malicious web scripts. Successful exploitation requires the attacker to trick a site administrator into performing a specified action, such as clicking on a malicious link.
