Summary

CVE-2023-6160 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the LifterLMS plugin for WordPress, used for eLearning. This issue, occurring in versions up to 7.4.2, allows authenticated attackers with administrator or LMS manager access to perform directory traversal through the maybe_serve_export function. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can access and read sensitive data from arbitrary CSV files on the server, as well as delete these files. This poses a significant risk to the confidentiality and integrity of data stored on the affected system.
