Summary

CVE-2023-6109 is a race condition vulnerability affecting the YOP Poll plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 6.5.26 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause lies in the plugin's add() function, which lacks proper access restrictions. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can submit multiple votes on a single poll, bypassing the one-vote-per-person setting. This vulnerability poses a significant security risk and requires an immediate update to the plugin.
