Summary

CVE-2023-5954 is a vulnerability affecting HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise. Maliciously crafted inbound client requests can trigger an excessive memory consumption during policy checks. This issue can lead to a denial-of-service condition if a large number of such requests are received. The vulnerability has been resolved in versions 1.15.2, 1.14.6, and 1.13.10.
