Summary

CVE-2023-5945 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting the video carousel slider with lightbox plugin for WordPress in version 1.0. The issue stems from the lack of proper nonce validation on the function "responsive_video_gallery_with_lightbox_video_management_func()". This weakness allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate admin actions, such as deleting hosted videos, through forged requests. Site administrators may unwittingly trigger these requests by clicking on specially crafted links.
