Summary

CVE-2023-5867 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affected the phpMyFAQ software version 3.2.1 and below, which is maintained by the GitHub user thorsten. An attacker could exploit this stored XSS vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into specially crafted FAQ entries. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected website, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft.
