Summary
CVE-2023-5855 is a medium severity vulnerability affecting Google Chrome versions prior to 119.0.6045.105. This issue involves a use-after-free condition in the Reading Mode feature. A remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to perform specific UI gestures, leading to heap corruption. This could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause the browser to crash. Users are advised to update their Chrome browsers as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
