Summary

CVE-2023-5825 is a vulnerability affecting GitLab CE/EE versions starting from 16.2 before 16.3.6, 16.4 before 16.4.2, and 16.5 before 16.5.1. An attacker with low privileges can manipulate a CI/CD Component to redirect it to an incorrect path, resulting in an infinite loop that consumes all available memory on the server. This issue can lead to Denial of Service. GitLab strongly advises users to upgrade to the affected versions' patched variants to prevent potential attacks.
