Summary

CVE-2023-5819 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Amazonify plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 0.8.1, arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in admin settings. Authenticated attackers, who must have administrator-level permissions, can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses a manipulated page, potentially leading to unintended actions or information disclosure. This vulnerability only impacts multi-site installations and instances where unfiltered_html has been disabled. It is important to note that this vulnerability can be combined with CVE-2023-5818 to enable Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.
