Summary
CVE-2023-5808 is a vulnerability affecting Storage Management Utility (SMU) versions preceding 14.8.7825.01. This issue grants unintended information disclosure to authenticated users in Storage administrative roles through URL manipulation. Normally, these users would not have access to HNAS configuration backup and diagnostic data. However, the vulnerability enables such access, posing a potential security risk.
