Summary

CVE-2023-5802 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.3.4 and below of the Mihai Iova WordPress Knowledge base & Documentation Plugin, WP Knowledgebase. A successful exploit of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to perform unintended actions on a user's WordPress site, such as modifying or deleting content, or changing site configurations. The attacker would need to lure the user into clicking a malicious link or visiting a specially crafted webpage that contains the malicious request. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to websites using the WP Knowledgebase plugin and should be addressed by updating to a patched version as soon as possible.
