Summary

CVE-2023-5797 is an improper privilege management vulnerability affecting multiple Zyxel firmware versions. The debug CLI command of impacted devices, including ATP, USG FLEX, USG FLEX 50(W), USG20(W)-VPN, VPN, NWA50AX, WAC500, WAX300H, and WBE660S, is the source of this issue. A local authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw to gain access to the administrator’s logs, potentially compromising sensitive information. Affected devices using firmware versions 4.32 through 5.37 for ATP series, 4.50 through 5.37 for USG FLEX series, 4.16 through 5.37 for USG FLEX 50(W) series, 4.16 through 5.37 for VPN series, 6.29(ABYW.2) for NWA50AX, 6.65(ABVS.1) for WAC500, 6.60(ACHF.1) for WAX300H, and 6.65(ACGG.1) for WBE660S are at risk. It is essential to update these devices to mitigate this vulnerability.
