Summary

CVE-2023-5793 is a newly disclosed vulnerability in flusity CMS that poses a significant risk. The issue lies in the function loadCustomBlocCreateForm of the file /core/tools/customblock.php within the Dashboard component. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the customblock_place argument, leading to cross-site scripting (XSS). This attack can be initiated remotely, making it a serious threat. Unfortunately, information about affected and unaffected releases is unavailable for this product, which does not use versioning. To mitigate the risk, it is strongly advised to apply the patch with the identifier 81252bc764e1de2422e79e36194bba1289e7a0a5 as soon as possible.
