Summary

CVE-2023-5745 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Reusable Text Blocks plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 1.5.3, allows authenticated attackers with author-level or higher permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'text-blocks' shortcode. As a result, injected pages will execute whenever a user accesses them, posing a significant security risk.
