Summary

CVE-2023-5667 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Tab Ultimate plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.3, compromises input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes within the plugin's shortcodes. Consequently, attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts are executed when a user accesses an infected page, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or manipulation.
