Summary

CVE-2023-5609 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Seraphinite Accelerator WordPress plugin. Prior to version 2.2.29, this plugin fails to sanitize and escape user input, making it susceptible to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious code into a webpage, which could potentially be executed by high privilege users, such as admins, leading to serious security implications.
