Summary

CVE-2023-5558 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the LearnPress WordPress plugin before version 4.2.5.5. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into user input, which is then reflected back in the page without proper sanitization or escaping. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to high privilege users, such as admins, who could be targeted with specially crafted attacks. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected website, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized access.
