Summary

CVE-2023-5555 represents a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affected the GitHub repository frappe/lms before the commit 5614a6203fb7d438be8e2b1e3030e4528d170ec4. This issue allowed an attacker to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized actions. The vulnerability could be exploited by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted webpage, posing a significant risk to users who interacted with the vulnerable repository. To mitigate this issue, users were advised to upgrade to the latest version of frappe/lms as soon as possible.
