Summary

CVE-2023-5538 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the MpOperationLogs plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0.1 are vulnerable, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into IP request headers. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, resulting in the execution of these scripts whenever an injected page is accessed by users.
