Summary

CVE-2023-5531 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Thumbnail Slider With Lightbox plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0 are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient nonce validation on the delete functionality. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate site administrators into deleting image lightboxes through malicious links, leading to potential data loss or unauthorized modifications.
