Summary
CVE-2023-5481 is a medium severity vulnerability affecting Google Chrome versions before 118.0.5993.70. An inappropriate implementation in the Downloads feature allowed a remote attacker to spoof security UI through a specially crafted HTML page. This issue could lead to user confusion and potential trust issues with maliciously displayed security prompts.
