Summary

CVE-2023-5464 is a vulnerability affecting the Jquery accordion slideshow plugin for WordPress. This issue, which occurs in versions up to and including 8.1, allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or higher to inject SQL queries into existing ones through insufficient escaping of user-supplied parameters. Consequently, sensitive information can be extracted from the database. The lack of proper query preparation exacerbates this risk.
