Summary
CVE-2023-5460 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Delta Electronics WPLSoft up to version 2.51. This issue lies in the Modbus Data Packet Handler component, where a buffer overflow occurs due to improper processing. The exploit of this heap-based buffer overflow has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. Vulnerability database VDB assigns this issue the identifier VDB-241583.
