Summary
CVE-2023-5399 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the C-Bus File Command. This issue, classified as CWE-22, allows for improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory, leading to potential file tampering on the affected personal computer. An attacker could exploit this path traversal vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to and manipulate files on the system.
