Summary

CVE-2023-5372 is a post-authentication command injection vulnerability affecting Zyxel NAS326 firmware versions up to V5.21(AAZF.15) and NAS542 firmware versions up to V5.21(ABAG.12). An attacker with administrator privileges can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted query parameter to the URL of an affected device's web management interface, potentially allowing them to execute OS commands. This issue could lead to unauthorized system access and potential data theft or destruction. Users are advised to update their firmware as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
