Summary

CVE-2023-52427 is a vulnerability affecting OpenDDS versions up to 3.27. This issue results in a segmentation fault when a DataWriter has an unusually large value set for the resource_limits.max_samples parameter. Despite the vendor's stance that the product is not intended to process such large values given the available system memory, this vulnerability may still pose a risk if the system configuration or application usage exceeds these limits.
