Summary

CVE-2023-52425 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting libexpat versions up to 2.5.0. Maliciously crafted input can cause the parsing process to require numerous full reparsings, leading to significant resource consumption and potential crashes or system instability. Attackers may exploit this issue by sending large tokens to the affected system, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.
