Summary

CVE-2023-5235 is a vulnerability affecting the Ovic Responsive WPBakery plugin for WordPress. Before version 1.2.9, this plugin fails to restrict the options that can be updated through certain AJAX actions. This issue poses a risk as attackers with a subscriber+ account can manipulate settings like 'users_can_register' and 'default_role'. Furthermore, the plugin unsafely unserializes user input, potentially enabling Object Injection attacks.
