Summary

CVE-2023-52252 is a vulnerability affecting Unified Remote version 3.13.0. This issue permits remote attackers to execute arbitrary Lua code due to a misconfigured Access-Control-Allow-Origin setting on the remote upload endpoint. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can send malicious Lua scripts to the server and potentially gain unauthorized access to the system with serious implications. System administrators are advised to update to the latest version of Unified Remote to mitigate this risk.
