Summary

CVE-2023-52178 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting WP Affiliate Disclosure, a plugin used for affiliate link disclosure on WordPress websites. The flaw, named Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation, allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into affected websites. This stored XSS vulnerability can be exploited to steal user data, conduct phishing attacks, or even hijack user sessions.
