Summary

CVE-2023-5209 is a vulnerability affecting the WordPress Online Booking and Scheduling Plugin before version 22.5. This issue allows high privilege users, including admins, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, bypassing the unfiltered_html capability restriction, even in multisite setups. The plugin fails to sanitize and escape certain settings, making it susceptible to this type of attack. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized access to user data or site takeover. Users are advised to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
