Summary

CVE-2023-5199 is a Local File Inclusion vulnerability affecting the PHP to Page plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 0.3, allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or greater to include local files and potentially execute code on the server through the 'php-to-page' shortcode. Subscribers might require additional steps, like poisoning log files, to achieve remote code execution. However, authors and above users can easily upload files to exploit this vulnerability and execute remote code directly.
