Summary

CVE-2023-51953 represents a stack overflow vulnerability affecting Tenda AX1803 v1.0.0.1. This issue is found in the function formSetIptv, which processes the iptv.stb.mode parameter. By supplying specially crafted input to this parameter, an attacker can trigger a stack overflow, potentially leading to an unintended application behavior or system crash. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in remote code execution with the privileges of the affected process, posing a significant risk to network security.
