Summary
CVE-2023-51887 is a command injection vulnerability affecting Mathtex version 1.05 and earlier. An attacker can exploit this weakness by crafting a malicious string in the application URL. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code remotely, posing a significant security risk. Mathtex users are advised to update to the latest version or implement proper input validation to mitigate this threat.
