CVE-2023-5188 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the MMS Interpreter in WagoAppRTU versions below 1.4.6.0, used by WAGO Telecontrol Configurator. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this weakness by sending malformed packets, resulting in a prolonged denial-of-service condition. The device must be restarted to regain functionality.
