Summary

CVE-2023-51772 is a vulnerability affecting One Identity Password Manager versions prior to 5.13.1. The issue allows for Kiosk Escape, enabling an attacker to gain system-level access on a Windows client. The product, used to reset Active Directory passwords on the login screen, employs a Chromium-based browser in Kiosk mode. By waiting for a session timeout, clicking on the Help icon, accessing a website with file upload functionality, and navigating to cmd.exe, an attacker can launch the command prompt as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
