Summary

CVE-2023-51732 is a vulnerability affecting the Skyworth Router CM5100, specifically version 4.1.1.24. The issue lies in the insufficient validation of user-supplied input for the IPsec Tunnel Name parameter at the device's web interface. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying malicious input to the parameter, potentially leading to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks on the targeted system. Successful exploitation of this weakness could allow the attacker to inject and execute malicious scripts in the context of the user's web browser, resulting in unauthorized access or data theft.
