Summary
CVE-2023-51730 is a vulnerability affecting the Skyworth Router CM5100, specifically version 4.1.1.24. The issue stems from insufficient input validation for the DDNS Password parameter at the device's web interface. An attacker can exploit this weakness by supplying maliciously crafted input to the web interface, potentially leading to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to inject and execute malicious scripts within the targeted system's context.
