Summary
CVE-2023-51724 is a vulnerability affecting Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24. The issue stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied input for the URL parameter at the device's web interface. An attacker can exploit this weakness by providing crafted input to the web interface, potentially leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Successful exploitation enables the attacker to inject malicious code into a web page viewed by other users, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of their sessions.
